About

First off, thank you for visiting my page. I truly believe that the posts on here will add value in some way to your life. Keep in mind when reading that I’m only 20 years old (soon to be 21. . . cheers).

My name is Bernie Adorino and I currently major in Finance at Rutgers Business School. I have experience working at multiple financial advisory firms in positions ranging from Wealth Management to Equity Research and I now work at an angel fund in NJ. Originally from Upstate NY, I decided to go out-of-state for college (after community college) to branch out and experience new people with new ideas. I transferred to Rutgers without knowing a single person. At any given time I’ll be reading 3-5 books on business or psychology. I have 16 years of experience playing baseball (won 2 championships) accompanied by 2+ years of coaching (ages 7-11). It also took me going to college to realize that I probably didn’t need college.

I created this site because I wanted an avenue to share my personal experience and professional thoughts. This site will basically act as a living book for what I’ve learned over the last 20 years, along with a mix of finance and my view on leadership/management. I will try to keep the posts to less than 400 words (<5 minutes).

Reach out to me anytime at bernieadorino@gmail.com. I hope you enjoy the posts as much as I enjoy writing them.
